Philips 32PFL3403D/27 32-Inch 720p LCD HDTV Review
Customer Reviews
I had a few different TVs on the lookout for a good 32-inch HDTV, and after the exchange of a few Vizio finally ended stick with it. Television is without attracting attention, are attractive, and the only time the notification lights active, is when the TV is turned on when a tiny white LED lights in the lower right corner of the camera. There are a lot of ports for its size (including 3 HDMI turned on) and it is light enough to transport- It can easily be moved by one person, and feels pretty solid.
The picture quality is good (what you 720p a), and it is quite easy to configure. It has a digital tuner, so if the TV air find what you need an antenna and you're golden. The medium is relatively easy to implement – just drag and pull the four included screws. The speakers are good, but it is well worth the long term, you plug it into a setexternal speakers.
The menus are relatively easy to see through are nothing special. Ease of use is probably a 3.5 out of 5 for what is and the remote control is not possible – that it has too many buttons for a TV remote control. However, it uses AAA batteries and is pretty easy, which is nice.
Overall I recommend this TV to anyone looking for an HDTV flat screen 32 ". It is beautiful, is a beautifulImage and is generally a good TV.

I have to I like this much tv bedroom. It for my class looks like and picture and sound are very good.I say with the opinion of the development of sound with the image Plant presets.I hope that they just leave it the same for presets.I love all the parameters of the personal image option. With this setting, I can get the picture I sound like I want time.As even if you go to a picture of factory presets, but the sound ischanged.Except for such a thing, I love TV on set. There is a little light shines in dark scenes by the four corners of the screen light up but I was told that it's had nothing to fear about. It not really think that noticeable, if you live long it.Anyway Philips. They are looking one of my first choices for the LCD TV. Great TV – E. Bass – Peoria, IL
I bought this TV with a PS3 and Philips 1000 Watt surround. When I bought, I was a well-run television motion, which the one who saw caught my attention. HD / Blu-Ray looks amazing on him and he looks much better in my opionion LG friends who paid a few hundred more.
The remote control is simple and clear. Like most remotes I want to have some background lighting.
The only problem I had with the TV was when I tried to connect to the surround PS3and television, surround sound not his PS3. I ran all HDMI cables. The sound would play, but cut. I talked to Philips about this and she beat a Digital Coaxial cable, which resolved the problem.
Overall I am very happy with this TV and Philips. Philips customer service was great.
Good for the size/price – R. Aull – Hawley, PA USA
In all honesty, I can not really complain that I do as a Christmas gift from my brother-brother. We made a trip to a big box retailer, because it would be gift cards to be used for the purchase had. I already have a Panasonic 50 "plasma I love the show and this model is now in my room.
I've always preferred mainly because of the lower LCD over plasma blacks. Business was not much of a choice which I assume because they have sold the mostits shares during the holiday season. We went to 28, where he appeared to be remnants. Being that I had no idea how much he wanted me to just go way to check on him what looked like price range / model it.
Personally, I would be a good Vizio 42 "plasma have preferred, but I am more than grateful for this LCD. We paid 550 but I know theres places online selling it for 500 which is excellent for an LCD 32". My computer screen 24 "was $ 500 just eight months! In the same direction I saw the 42 "Vizio plasma for $ 700, but I did not push my luck with my brother.: P
The TV itself has three HDMI inputs, one S-video on the page, and I think, two component inputs. At the moment I have connected via component cables, that the HDMI cable in the mail and on the road. The support is brilliant and beautiful, but that is not at all adjustable. The sound is less on the side and built in surround sound mode is not much to add punchthe sound at all.
I never bothered to sound much as you can always buy a good 5.1 Setup, and type never concerned you can always buy a cheap receiver to add tons of extra entries. The bread and butter must be the picture quality, and I was not very impressed with this series. It is very sensitive and pixalation a good amount of spirits in the fast-moving objects. SD channels do not seem very good at all, even when upconverted by my decoder. HD content looked good, butnot nearly as clear as my plasma. The color reproduction is decent, if twisted, and even using a predefined color modes are OK.
All offers Sport, Movie, Game, Custom, and Power Saver modes to quickly adjust the color. Just be aware that they also have the effect audio levels! This is the first TV I noticed that when changing modes of color audio level as well. A feature that I always like games with Philips is the criterion of economic pressure, advertising and other sources claimedBlow up the volume on their own. If this function is activated all sources will remain the same. Thats a line I have never understood how it does not until I have some ads and would almost blow my eardrum was!
The zoom seems to work quite well and they offer a few ways (I think 5 or 6 options), how to stretch the 4:3 images. I found the best option for the super-zoom option, because it is only a very small piece from the bottom of the screen and influencesstretch the image to make all look fat. They also have a auto mode that the TV the best option after I come in. souce then noticed when I switched from using select you can use a S-video to component cable I could not choose between the zoom modes on the TV. All options are grayed out except for the widescreen option. It was good because my cable box is also leaving the option of HD content in its native widescreen and it stretches 4:3 content to fill on the screen. Ita good job, but the SD content is stretched every look short and stocky. I liked the possibilities range from the TV the better it is unfortunate that this option when you lose, component or HDMI.
The remote is very easy to feel and function. It is not very comfortable to hold and the buttons are declared inconvenient. It also has three buttons on the only colors that are difficult, are marked to see at night. Fortunately, I managed my program remote connection boxesControl basic functionality of the TV.
Overall, I am glad that I upgrade to a larger room, I would just like the picture was the best display of SD content. The pixelation and ghosting really is reinforced on the SD channels. I want the media to be updated at least at the top and bottom. If it were me, I would spend the additional $ 150 and get a nice 42-inch plasma, but if the constraints of money or the size of a problem that should do nicely.
